The crazy ass shit your kids can say!

Kline is 40 weeks off steroids.....I tried to start vlogging so here is my 1st one. I hope it works. Please let me know if you like this or writing better.  Beware this video contains adult language and no that is not a booger hanging out of  my nose, I have a cut on it, and no not from picking my nose too much! lol

Here are pix of kline this week while in tub flaring...you can see his neck and arms and feet still give him the most problem.

  1. LOL! I enjoyed the video. Kline seems to have conveniently forgotten all the naughty words already! 40 weeks steroid-free! Keep it up little man!!

  2. Wow, sounds like you have way too much time on your hands. I feel sorry for your poor child, that he is subjected to your foul mouth. Also, appears like he is left alone in the bathtub from your video. Not a good idea! Probably should continue to blog instead of video. Draws less attention to your negligent parenting. Just my opinion.....

  3. I don't claim to be perfect just disciplined most of the time when it comes to spewing cuss words in front of children and especially on a video for the whole world to see/hear. Hopefully the feedback you receive will at some point be thought about. Just a shocking video.

  4. You are welcome to come to my house and watch the suffering Kline is in....maybe then you wouldn't be so judgemental.....cussing is the least of my worries as I sit by my son's side 24/7 consoling him, and loving him and watching him suffer, there is not an ounce of neglect in my house. Potty mouth yes, neglect no.....until you walk a mile in someone's shoes you do not know there life!

  5. Patty, how does being a few feet away from the bathroom with a child in view equate to being a neglectful parent? And how does saying a few expletives make her a bad mother in reality or in the eyes of her son? You seem to be a very judgemental person, given the strife both Loren and her son have to go through with physical suffering each day. The nerve you have to judge, shame on you. And I should say...if you don't particularly relish her behavior, you should get the FUCK OFF THIS BLOG.

    1. Yes Patty, you judgmental old hag, you are indeed very, very sad. Stay off this site no one cares for your input.

  7. What I don’t understand is why you have to document your son’s pain and suffering? Do you think it makes you look like a good and caring mother? Or do you think he may thank you in the future for putting him through this? I have read some of your blog and it shocks me when you bitch and moan about being kept up at night, like you said ‘until you walk a mile in someone’s shoes you don’t know their life’, do you have eczema? If not you really have NO IDEA how your baby son is feeling! I have eczema and it looks to me like Kline has terrible eczema! Do him a favour and take him to a doctor, they can cure cancer you know! Babies often grow out of their eczema, mine did, maybe you need to give him a chance and a quality of life NOW! One more thing, stop blogging nobody thinks your amazing by putting your son through this, and let me assure you nobody likes stumbling across this child abuse you like to publish like looking into a camera and crying? You look negligent and uneducated blindly following scaremongers. People have stopped steroids without this trauma and if you asked more questions you would discover it can be very dangerous. Just in case you didn’t know a toddler died in Australia because her parents refused to use drugs…just some food for thought! Amy ps please stop your swearing it is ugly!

    1. U have no clue what u are talking about...........I am documenting because the drugs did this to him...I will not argue with you and he does not have eczema! You need to check your self before you wet ourself! Plus, most of my blogpg is humor!!!!!

  8. Patty and DWFP surely you both should have no idea what this mother here is going through. And no, designerDFP the fact that you have eczema does not make you the authority on how a parent should act when they watch their child in pain. Why don't you ask this mother what her story and reasons are before you go and act as God as condemn her? As for documenting, she is doing the world a favor and sharing her experiences to help many other mothers going through the same thing and also to help herself emotionally. We all have flaws. Eczema and topical withdrawl is a fighting war. When soldiers come home from war...they speak in a language full of pain and trauma. Have some patience for the struggle of others. And God knows best.

  9. Patty and DWFP,

    GFY!

It is so comforting to know that there are people like you out there that can view a VLOG or BLOG and know everything about the situation.

So I guess you knew that Kline has been under a doctors care for over 4 years, that's right over 4 years. Nine months inside and almost 4 years outside. So, I guess you missed that. And that all the doctors Kline saw thought it was eczema and their course of treatment was more and more, stronger and stronger steroids. And guess what? They didn't cure Kline's eczema but only made it worse.

So Loren looked elsewhere, like any good parent would do to help her son. She was lucky enough to find Dr. Rappaport and ITSAN. Dr. Rap knew exactly what Kline was having, a reaction to steroids. Unfortunately the only cure was time off these powerful addicting drugs. As Kline was so young, there were few options to help manage the oozing, cracking, peeling, insane itching and lack of sleep that Kline and his family would have to endure.

By the way, Dr. Rap has cured over 4,000 patients suffering from TSAW and RSS. So I would say, He knows of what he speaks.

Now I don't expect you to believe in Dr. Rap or TSAW and RSS; after all, you know so much more.

By the way, when I told my doctors about TSAW and RSS, they hadn't heard about it; but they were open to look into it to gain knowledge and possible not hurt one of their patients. Unlike the "Doctors" that Loren and Kline saw. So sure they were treating eczema. Maybe they were just sold a bunch of bull by the Pharma companies that make the steroids. Oh yeah, did I tell you that these "Doctors" said to lather Kline up with the steroids all day, everyday, until the end of time. Now I think steroids are for 5-10 days and then stop. But these "Doctors" knew better.

I know this won't have persuaded you to stop thinking ill of the Moms and Dads that are in your words, "abusing" their children, so I won't waste anymore time to try and persuade you different.

Just don't read the blogs and don't worry about the poor people suffering from the horrible, preventable reaction to a "Wonder Drug".

I hope you have a safe and happy life, in the world you live.

    GPa

  12. I don't doubt for a second that your experience and your child's life has been a living nightmare and for that I completely sympathize. No child should have to endure what he has gone through in such a short life. With that being said, I still feel that publicizing the use of inappropriate language used in your home is ineffective and unnecessary. Those are my opinions and when you have a public blog and allow for comments people are going to comment. I am not asking anyone to change, I merely stated that I thought the video was shocking. For that I do not apologize. Taped/recorded/documented speaking and blogging can ( not saying it will) haunt you later in life. Those things are open to the public for ever (future employers, etc.).

  13. Oh, come on you stuck up b....es! Who doesn't cuss once in a while at home? Who doesn't say things that we shouldn't in front of our kids? Who is always perfect? NO ONE! Then how is Loren any different? She just admits it publicly! That's it! She is not worse than the rest of us bc of this. I do say bad words in front of my kid, too... I admit it. It's life. Plus, raed her story before you go on and say stupid, untrue things about her their past.
BTW, LOREN you have GORGEOUS teeth!!! I'm sooo freaking jealous! :)

    1. I love this last post from Kelou. I think you have said pretty much what we all have wanted to say to these to irritating, under educated over opinionated, unsympathetic, heartless ladies. And i must say the paragraph about "sanctimonious waffle". Spot on, It also made me laugh out loud... good job on the post

  15. Naomi, I wrote it in such a rush, it could do with an edit, would hate to be pulled up for poor spelling and grammar!

Should have read contemplate, not contemplating.

A few other errors too. How very inappropriate and slap dash of me.

    Thanks though! x

  16. I do usually refrain from 'feeding the animals' but in this case I do think I may make an exception.

To the two ladies (I assume that is your sex) who have issues with Loren's choice of words. I would say firstly, Loren has shown great courage in dealing with her son, and kindness and compassion beyond measure in dealing with others, and I include myself in that group. Her kindness to me when I was low I will never forget, I was someone she had never met and she has always been kindness personified.

To the lady who said a child died by the parent refusing meds, sadly this happens daily, this in itself is not news. But I have not yet heard of a child dying from eczema by refusing steroids. Non treated infections yes, but eczema alone? Not that I am aware of. Perhaps you can enlighten me, as no amount of googling is highlighting this child who died of not treating eczema with steroids? I also assume that you are aware that the child in question on the blog is under the care of one of the best Doctors in this field, and far from scaremongering I think Loren has remained quite constrained. Perhaps when you next have a moment when you are not being quite so obnoxious you would care to look into this syndrome. It has been well documented since the 1950's it is not a new phenomenon by any means. Then perhaps you will discover quite how scaremongering could happen.

My son has gone through this withdrawal process and is now perfectly well, however the process itself was rather unpleasant as you can witness from Loren's blogging. No one should force you to watch it, you are free to shut the page down whenever you should so wish. I do think however that this is great reassurance for the parents who have had no sleep in weeks, have not managed to get outside the house in months, who can see someone in all their vulnerability. It really does help to know you are not alone, that others behave much in the same way as you do (well obviously not in your case) and frankly, I have yet to meet a perfect mother, we all have our little imperfections, and that is the way it should and will be.

Now to move on to the language issue, perhaps Loren could self edit, but I fail to see why she should need to. No one can force you to read this blog. You are of course fully entitled to your opinion, but I do believe you Americans cherish your freedom of speech? Personally I find all words have power, vernacular even more so at times. I welcome my children asking me what all words mean, and I would rather we could have an open and frank discussion about meaning, nuances and history, rather than just banning a word as being 'taboo' There are words that I am sure I find much more unpleasant than there should be any straight literary meaning to, this too is vital for our children to learn. There is only one swear word that I do not like to hear, but when used in the right place, at the right time it can almost be an endearment (See D H Lawrence).

I do so love the quote from Stephen Fry, he is both British and Gay so I suspect ladies of your persuasion will not find him your 'cup of tea' as it were, but he said........"The sort of twee person who thinks swearing is in any way a sign of a lack of education or of a lack of verbal interest is just fucking lunatic," he says. "Or they say, 'It's not necessary.' As if that should stop one doing it. Things not being necessary is what makes life interesting."

It only remains for me to thank the two in question, for it has been a long time indeed since I saw such a amount of sanctimonious waffle. In fact, this has really been most diverting, and this has had me really contemplating on the type of person I would choose to spend time with, and the kind of parent I have no desire to aspire to. Bless you, and I wish you all that you wish for others.

Dear Loren, keep on keeping on. From now on try Matris futuor, or Potes meos suaviari clunes.

  17. Omg! This is crazy. You people that are judging Loren haven't a clue. Great job Loren! For the others who condemn bad language honestly I'd love to see what would happen if you were in the same situation. Possible a mental institution by the looks of your responses to this blog!
