Today Kline is supposed to go to swimming, but his skin is so bad I am going to put his lessons on hold. He has been taking swim lessons in Reno at silver bear and he loves it!! He is starting to use his scoopers and even take a pop up breath. He's been going once a week for a year! But, i really want to get his skin under control before he starts up again, hopefully it will only be for a month or so!!! It a sad day for us, probably more for me!!! It is the only thing he does with out me since his food allergies are so bad! Come on gaps, let Kline swim again! Xoxoxoxo Loren
Dear Loren,
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your note to my FB page, letting me know about your GAPS-journey blog! Looks great!!
My heart aches and my eyes cry when I see your poor baby's eczema... I'm wishing him wonderful healing!! I've got lots of optimism for him.
Sounds like you're doing a great job of the program! Way to go, Mama!
All my best,
Baden
so honored Baden, that you took the time to read kline's blog! thank you! xoxoo loren
DeleteHave you everconsidered that the cholorine and other additive in water could be bad for your sone sensitive skin? Actually, it is bad for everyone as it absorbs into theskin. I would not do swimming lessons until he heals. Adding chlorine is just adding more insult to his poor ski nwhen one of the things you are trying to do is detoxifying. Good luck
ReplyDeleteI never thought about it till no, I am looking into a uv pool instead, I hope that will be ok, he loves to swim!! Thank you! Loren xoxoxox
ReplyDeleteMy son's eczema was one of the main reasons I finally agreed with my husband to invest in an in ground pool (I know, not an option for everyone). We have a salt water pool, and it has been amazing for his skin. You should bring Kline over this summer and give it a try.
