I feel so bad for this little guy. I feel like crying for him. No one should have to go through that. I don't know if you have looked into this, but have you tried coconut oil? Cold pressed of course. We eat it and I put it on my sons skin and it seems to help. Though he only has keratosis pilaris and it doesnt itch. There is a book called the coconut miracle I think. Check it on Amazon. Also, I mentioned the gelatin in another post. Maybe this would help as you are not doing gaps. Make him jello with just fruit juice and gelatin. My 4 kids love it and it is super ealy to make. I also add it to other foods as it is tasteless. Maybe him getting this in his body several times a day will help. PLEASE try it. Here is a link. I little spendy, but worth it, and cheaper than knox in the store. You get 2 cans for this price...http://www.amazon.com/Great-Lakes-Unflavored-Gelatin-16-Ounce/dp/B001ELLBJS/ref=sr_1_2?s=grocery&ie=UTF8&qid=1334841127&sr=1-2

i watched this last week. and muted my sound before i did -- b/c i knew exactly what was coming. and that the visual would be more than i could emotionally manage reliving right now (w/o the added sound of his precious, suffering voice). i know these car rides WELL, loren. i truly understand . . .
